Year 1 have been learning about weight in Maths. They have used the balancing scales to compare weight of different objects. The children first had to estimate if an item would weight more, less or the same as an apple and then use the scales to confirm or deny their guess. Then they used cubes to estimate and measure how many cubes an item weighed by balancing the scales. The children had to work very carefully to ensure their weighing was correct. To finish they ordered objects according to their weight. Well done Year 1, it looks like you’ve learnt a lot!
