Looking Forward

PTFA

PTFA (our parents’ association) will be meeting. They do so much for the school and without them many of the resources, playground equipment and fun activities wouldn’t happen.

So please come along. It’s a great way to meet new members of the school and to get involved. There is no need to commit to anything and no one will be twisting your arm.

18.30 on Monday 30th September 2019.

Reminder – Open Day

If you know anyone who is looking for a place in school for September 2020, please could you give them one of the flyers that we gave you last week.

Reminder Playground Safety

We are aware that some children walk to school as part of growing up and taking responsibility and we agree whole-heartedly with that ethic.

I’d just like to remind parents that children remain unsupervised until they queue up and enter our building at 09:00. Please can those parents make sure their children understand your expectations during this period without any adult supervision.

Looking Back

Polling Station

Thanks to all of you who responded and sent those forms to the electoral Office. As a result of “a considerable number of comments” the office sent officers out to look at alternatives. They were rather surprised at how close the church was and also how well set up the village hall was. I’d like to thank the people who run those facilities for showing the officers around.

Fingers crossed.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Thanks to all of you who responded by coming and bringing in cakes. We raised over £320 in the morning with hopefully more to come in after school sales.

As always, I will always do my best to speak to you about any concerns you may have on the day so please feel free to approach me, either on the playground or book an appointment if you prefer.
