Reminder – Film Night – Ferdinand

Film Night is on 24th October 2018. For those unfamiliar with the format, it starts straight after school and goes on until 17.30. Pick up is from the main entrance and into the entrance hall.

Sweets and a drink come with your ticket (which cost £2) and there are refreshments available for sale on the night. We are proposing to watch Ferdinand – a U rated film.

Nuts

Can I please remind parents that we do respectfully ask that you do not provide your child with nut based snacks or lunches for the safety of other pupils and staff within the school.

Please do not be offended if we ask your child to eat their lunch away from the school if we feel that his/her lunch may contain nuts.

Nursery Curriculum Evening

Parents of the Nursery are invited to attend our Nursery Curriculum Evening at 18:00 on 8th November 2018. Please see the flyer coming home.

Looking Back

Year 5 Restart a Heart

A very big thank you to Mr Cartlidge and all the staff at the library for hosting a fantastic and informative session with our Year 5 pupils. The children thoroughly enjoyed this valuable lesson in saving lives.

CADSSA Football League A

We cannot say how proud we are of our team for the fantastic way they have played this term. CADSSA is such a competitive league with a long list of schools wanting to join.

We were, unfortunately, beaten off the top spot by a single point after a really competitive term. Well done to Cheadle for the final victory but that takes nothing away from the children who did their school proud!

Facebook and Website

Miss Sturt is leading the way with our Facebook page – it’s wonderful to be able to show how much goes on in school during the day. Her nimble thumbs and tech-savvy brain is really showing everyone what goes on in our school.

As always, I will always do my best to speak to you about any concerns you may have on the day so please feel free to approach me, either on the playground or book an appointment if you prefer.
