We are very sorry to be losing Miss Davies from our Year 4 classroom and Mrs Wilkins from our Year 5. They will be very much missed and I’d like to thank them on behalf of the pupils, parents and governors for their stirling work over the years and to wish them every success in their future.
I am very pleased to announce that we have appointed Mrs E Root to take Year 5 from January 2020. We had an excellent set of candidates and are very pleased with our choice. With plenty of experience Mrs Root will be able to hit the ground running in January and will be coming into school regularly in the Autumn term to meet the children and learn our procedures.
Heads and Deputies
I am always so impressed with the ability of our children to think about what makes a good Head and Deputy Head in the school. I am very pleased to announce that we have announced our picks for next year as follows:
- Head Boy – Seb Head Girl – Chloe
- Head Girl – Emma D Head Boy – Oscar
Reminder – School Service
Our School service is on Thursday 18th at 14.00. We ask parents to wait for us on the KSI playground to help escort our school over to the church. Year 6 do not come as they are preparing their service for Friday but this gives our Year 5’s the chance to look after other classes and take on their roles as the oldest children in school.
Pick up is from school only after we return from church which should be at around 15:00 to 15:30.
What a fantastic Year 6. Thank you for being such great ambassadors, prefects, sportsmen and sportswomen and students. We will really miss you all and wish every one of you success in your futures.
Have a great summer.
